A local independent garage has established a new alliance with vehicle parts supplier SC Motor Factors, who recently opened a local Thanet branch in Margate.

Kent Car Craft, a family run vehicle repair and servicing workshop in St Peters, had previously been a Unipart Car Care Centre but on the 24^th of July this year, Unipart Automotive went into administration, with the loss of more than 1,400 jobs. Co-Directors Owen Forrest and Daniel Spatig were keen to act swiftly in selecting an alternative parts supplier partner. They were consistently one of the top three highest accounts with Unipart so it was no surprise that Parts Suppliers across Kent were all keen to offer their services.

SC Motor Factors are part of the Parts Alliance Group who have bought 12 former Unipart sites and employed 361 former Unipart staff.
